Bike and Sail the Twin Capes!
Bike through Cape May in the morning and then historic Lewes in the afternoon with a relaxing respite aboard the Cape May Lewes Ferry. More than 350 bicyclists completed the Twin Capes Trek this past July, because it is an inexpensive break from the ordinary. Trails are easily accessible from our ferry terminals. Bicycles travel free and bicyclists pay the same low fares as foot passengers.

Lewes, Del.

Delaware has abundant trails for bicyclists and has been named the ninth most bicycle friendly state in the nation by the League of American Bicyclists. One reason is the 6-mile-long Junction and Breakwater Trail in Lewes, which connects Lewes and Rehoboth Beach along a former rail line.

Cape May, N.J.

In New Jersey, the Cape May Shoreline Ride provides a 46-mile route through the scenic landscapes of Cape May County, including vistas of lighthouses, gorgeous Victorian architectures, bays, beaches, barrier island communities, wetlands and more.
